Day 14: T2 Chai

Now you say your lonely, you chai the whole night through... well you can chai me a river, chai me a river ... cos its so dayum tasty!

Spice me up! I was super excited for this #tea as I love all the different spices in chai and this is always a fun brew with a #spicy kick!

As soon as I saw the pack I had Justin Timber lake's 'Cry me River' song going through my head but with Chai instead of cry! 😂 There's so many fun songs that work with Chai - from Fergie's 'Big Girls Don't Chai' (but they really do) to Keith UIrbans 'Tonight I Want to Chai' I had a fun break from quarantine thinking of the songs that could be edited for chai!

The aroma of this tea is perfect for #chai! A number of different spices are clearly identifiable alongside the tea - in particular, cloves and cardamon stand out, as well as a little cinnamon. Looking at the tea, this pack is definitely a little clove heavy, and there were no star anise pieces, but otherwise it looks like a great mixture - and therefore I expected some great flavors!

This tea, traditionally can be served with milk and honey, but as I didn't fancy heating it on the hob to warm up the milk and properly infuse the flavors, I went simple, just adding hot water!

The tea was really good! The different flavors come through, creating that unique chai flavor and the tastes and #spices last so you can brew the tea over and over!

Classic and tasty - definitely one to have again (perhaps brewed more traditionally with hot milk and honey!).
