Day 15: T2 Spellbound Cider

This isn't the first time I've had the spellbound cider #tea and knowing it was hiding somewhere in the box I was really excited when it came around!

The aroma of this tea is very sweet, but the spiced notes really cut through the sweetness, toning it down and adding depth to the aromas. When wet, the spice and the sweetness continue to combine, creating a pleasant smell that doesn't threaten to be an overly sweet #tisane

Brewed, the tea had a soft yellow and almost cloudy color, which does remind me of the cloudy cider look, great start for #spellboundcider tea!

This made a really pleasant drink - the spiced notes cut thorough the sweetness of the apple, meaning you didn't get that overly sweet flavor at the back of your throat.

How does it compare to warm cider? Warm cider still wins of course, when your out in the cold, at the Christmas markets its just a fantastic way to warm up . But for when your home and looking for a less alcoholic brew - this is definitely a good shout! With some extra cinnamon, ginger or allspice this tea would have a really good kick to it!
