Day 1 - T2 Mulled Wine Magic

'Sip happens, mulled wine helps' - if this isn't the perfect quote for right now then I don't know what is!

Before the corona virus rocked the world, I spent the run up to #Christmas exploring Christmas markets in London, Poznan and Berlin, buying beautiful gifts and trying a #mulledwine (or 5...0...). I've always found mulled wine to be a great drink, and enjoyed even more trying the different varieties on offer in Berlin, as it is so warming and its' tastes and aromas just remind you of everything Christmassy!

So they key question is: does Mulled Wine Magic tea give you that same effect?

When you open the packet for this #mulledwinemagic tea, you cannot miss the aromas that leap from the packaging. The #cinnamon comes through quite strongly, and it also gives me quite a #fruity flavor which, alongside the name, made me imagine the tea to be a deep red color like berry teas (and of course mulled wine!)

Sadly, the tea was more of a pale pink - despite brewing it for several minutes. I'm not sure if this is the color its meant to be or if it was due to a combination of:

a) disappointingly small amount of tea within the sachet (I would have probably used 2-3 times the amount had I been able)

b) rather large tea pot

However, despite this disappointment, the tea had a lovely flavor, quite light and with a definite cinnamon and fruity taste to it. It didn't give me the same Christmassy thoughts and feelings like a mulled wine in the cold does, but admittedly that sensation might be as much due to my environment than the flavorings!

I do think it would be better had I be able to use more tea to create a much stronger #brew and really bring out those Christmassy flavours!

So what's in it?

- Apple

- Hibiscus

- Rosehip Shells

- Cinnamon

- Ginger
